Greenvelope lets you ask different RSVP questions to different guest groups. Tag the guests in each group, then limit a survey question to that tag, and only guests with the tag will see the question on their RSVP page. Everyone else sees the rest of your RSVP page as usual, so a question meant for one group never confuses the others.
How do I ask RSVP questions to specific guests?
Step 1: Tag the guests in the group. Click the "Send" step, then click the "+ Tag" link in each contact's row. To tag several guests at once, select them first, then edit their tags.
Step 2: Add the question. Click the "Details" step, click the "RSVP Page" section, then click the "Add a New Question" button in the "Survey Questions" section.
Step 3: Limit the question to the tag for that group. Guests without the tag won't see it.
Repeat for each group, using a different tag for each one.
What can you do with guest-specific RSVP questions?
- Weddings: ask only out-of-town guests whether they need the hotel shuttle, or only the wedding party about the rehearsal dinner.
- Corporate events: ask only speakers about their session time, or only sponsors about booth setup.
- Nonprofit events: ask only table hosts for the names of their guests.
- Parties: ask only adults whether they're staying for the after-party.
Can different guest groups see different event details too?
Yes. Extra event details in the Details Panel, such as a custom section or a second location, can also be limited by tag. A welcome dinner or VIP reception then shows only for the guests invited to it, and other guests won't see it.
Where do the answers go?
Answers to tag-limited questions are saved to each guest's record alongside their RSVP, the same as any other survey question, so you can review them as guests reply and export them with the rest of your RSVPs.
