Now relationship-building and customer relations management is easier than ever with the new Salesforce - Greenvelope integration. Integrating with Salesforce allows Greenvelope users to directly import contacts from Salesforce campaigns and sync RSVP data back into campaign member statuses in real time. The best part is configuring the integration is simple by following the steps below, and the configuration does not require a developer.
Obtaining your Salesforce Key and Secret Token:
Step 1: Using an administrator account, log in to Salesforce. From the top right header menu, click “Setup.”Step 2: In the left navigation menu expand “Create” and then click “Apps.”
Step 3: On the Apps page, in the Connected Apps section, click “New.”
Step 4: In the New Connected App page and enter the following information in to the page.
- Connected App Name: Greenvelope
- API Name: Greenvelope
- Contact Email: support@greenvelope.com
- Callback URL: https://www.greenvelope.com/_addon/salesforce.aspx
- Access and manage your data (api)
- Perform requests on your behalf at any time (refresh_token, offline_access)
Step 7: In the page that appears for your new connected app, copy the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret values.
How to Connect Salesforce:
Step 8: Click your account name in the top left.Step 9: Select “Salesforce” in the top menu.
Step 10: Click the toggle to turn on the Salesforce integration.
Step 11: Enter your “Consumer Key” and “Consumer Secret Token” values for your Salesforce organization obtained in steps 1-7.
Step 12: Click “Authorize.” You will be asked to sign in to your Salesforce account (if you are not already logged in). Select "Allow" to give Greenvelope access to your Salesforce account.
